Beyers Grit Extra is a mineral mixture consisting of seashell grit, red stone, stomach grit and oyster shell grit and is enriched with aniseed. Grit is incredibly important for the pigeon’s digestion. Grit represents the pigeon’s ‘teeth’. Plus Grit Extra is rich in calcium and magnesium and therefore plays a very important role in the development of the bones, the egg shells and the feathers.
